COVID-19

UPDATE – As of May 25, we will begin offering in-person meetings again. We will require that all adults at a meeting wear a mask and maintain appropriate social distancing consistent with state guidelines.

We will continue to offer video conferencing for anyone who feels more comfortable avoiding in-person contact.

As we navigate this unprecedented crisis in our global community, Verdigris is committed to taking the necessary precautions to protect ourselves and our clients.

This boils down to limiting in-person interactions. We’ve seen great success so far using video conferencing to continue meetings with our existing clients and meeting new potential clients for the first time.

Typically the first real step in a renovation project for us is to get into the existing house and measure. This is obviously difficult with the current situation, unless the building is unoccupied, but there are other ways to get a new project underway.

Many homeowners may have been provided with the construction drawings of their house when they moved in. We can use these to generate our drawings and proposed designs, and then verify that the drawings are accurate once we’re able to meet face to face on site.

Another option, if the project is small and simple, is for the homeowner to provide a base level of dimensions for us to work with. Again, once we’re able to visit the site, we will double-check all the important dimensions.

If you are interested in building an entirely new structure, we can usually start that project based on information from the land surveyor and our own remote research.

As a new service, we are also available for simpler design advice meetings via video conference. If you’ve been sitting at home thinking about handling some light DIY remodeling with your downtime, but would like a designer’s eye, we’re happy to take a look and offer our advice for a reduced consultation fee of $40/30 minute call.

If you have a project you’ve been thinking about, feel free to reach out and start the conversation. We’re open for business – from a distance!
